Time for Stew

The weather today is rainy with a hint of a chill in the air, which means it is perfect for beef stew and some fresh bread, preferably homemade. These are the days when I am glad I have a few recipes laying around that are the absolute best when it comes to comfort food. I was lucky in that I was able to ask friends and family members for their recipes over the years and then I just streamlined them according to my own particular preferences to get the flavor I wanted. Now that I have become known for a few of my meals, I am more likely to share them and let others experience these amazing flavors!

One thing about me is that I like meals that are simple to make, but delicious. And for those that believe this is not possible, think again. I will admit that making beef stew takes a bit more work than some easy-to-prepare meals, but once you get the final product you will thank yourself for putting in the time to make it as it is truly worth the effort. The technique is simple, although a smidge more time-consuming, and I consider it more of an act of love for my friends. The following are instructions for great beef stew.

Meat in a pan

First, the meat has to be browned in order to allow the flavor to marinate. Next, the beef must be braised with a few vegetables in a mixture of red wine and beef broth. Once you get to the end, you can add more chopped vegetables so they can retain their color, character, and most importantly, flavor. The end result is a beef stew that is hearty, similar to a pot roast that you eat in a bowl. How hearty and flavorful is this beef stew? Well, there are rarely people that eat my beef stew that have one bowl since it is so yummy. To add to the meal, I suggest eating it with fresh bread buns with some butter and you are set for a few days, possibly almost a week.

For women that are expecting, you can skip the red wine in the stew. You know what I found out while shopping for an alternative to red wine in my beef stew? I discovered a non-alcoholic wine called Fre that tastes and smells like wine but has none of the alcohol. It is cheap and does the trick in terms of providing a similar flavor to the alcoholic variety. The beauty of making a beef stew is that you really get out of it what you put into it. But then again, the majority of prepared meals are like that, right?

But what I really mean to say is that if you follow all of the instructions carefully, the end result you will love is it will be delicious and you know that you can always make it on those chilly or cold days that you plan to spend in the house. If you need to see it being made, of course, there are videos that you can check out loud until you get the hang of it. But I promise that once you do, you will include it as one of the go-to meals in your household.

Reasons to Consider One

Now that I have an air purifier in my home, I absolutely love it and I cannot believe how much easier it is to breathe than before. My only regret is that I had listened to my friends and bought one even earlier. But better late than never, and the good thing is that now I know I never have to worry about the quality of the air in my room. When I first began searching, I was not really sure what I should be looking for, so I turned to my good friends that were able to advise me on the best brands in the industry today.

Having an air purifier in your home is better for you than not having one, no matter what your house is like and even if no one in it suffers from allergies. They just keep the air clearer for breathing, and you never know when someone with asthma might come into your home and feel uneasy due to poor circulation. If you have an air purifier in place, you never have to fret about the quality or with people not coming by because they know that the air in your home is detrimental to their health. When most people think of an air purifier, they associate them with only removing odors in the air.

The fact is they do more than that and I believe that if most people knew what they were capable of in entirety, they would be more likely to purchase one for their home. There is so much junk in the air these days, and knowing that you have an air purifier in the home that can remove things like mildew, mold, allergens, dander, dust mites, pollen, and more can be the ultimate relief mentally as well as physically. Of course, air quality affects some more than others, and these are some of the ways that purifiers can assist you and the entire family.

This is a fairly common problem that affects many people, and an air purifier can help to clear the nasal passages so that you can breathe while sleeping. By removing the dust mites and other allergens in the air, you can have a better night’s sleep. I suggest changing the filters at least once a month.

If there are people in your home that have diabetes -specifically type II diabetes – an air purifier in the home can return their glucose levels to stability.

Sick Family Members

When we sneeze and cough, germs easily spread throughout the air and expose other people. An air purifier is an excellent way to clear the air quicker and reduce the amount of illnesses in your home. This is a major concern when people in my house are sick and I don’t wish it to spread from one member to the next. If you are the type of person that likes to expel germs quickly and are a bit paranoid when it comes to pollutants in the air, then know that an air purifier can be just the thing you need to drive germs and pollutants from your air and from your home.
